Awesome stay and sad to leave
This isn’t a hotel but a private residence. We arrived and were met by the caretaker who took us up to the unit and gave us the keys. We were shown how to use the amenities, paid our deposit and were left to make ourselves at home. This is a very nice and comfortable place to stay and we will definitely make this our go to whenever we stay in Davao in the future. Getting around was very easy, taxis arrive fairly regularly and if you don’t want to wait, it is only a five minute walk to the main road and we never waited longer than a couple of minutes for one to drive by and stop. It was very quiet, aircon worked very well and both rooms have their own aircon unit. There is cable television which was a welcome addition and the kitchen was very functional and adequate. There is a pool and a restaurant within the confines of the three tower complex, hospital and shops within five to ten minute walk if needed and the security staff were very helpful and professional.
Really, there was nothing not to like. If I had to raise one thing it was the bed is very hard, but you got used to it after the first night. We both loved this place and can’t recomend it highly enough. The worst thing about My Angels Nest really was having to leave.

Was Just ok
Price Location and ease of staff coordination at check in & check out
The primary bed was very hard and uncomfortable, with minimal effort and cost a mattress topper could be added to make the bed much more soft and comfortable. The shower faucet and assemble needs updated as it was very difficult to figure out how to use and get a consistent temperature. Also the kitchen and bathroom sinks do not have hot water plumbed to them, only cold water available at sinks. The balcony terrace is tiny approx. 18" wide by 8 foot long, not usable for comfort of any kind.
